Hi, I am Kelley McLeod
lover of photography, white sand beaches, horses, my two children and most importantly, the God who gives it all. I'm passionate about making real connections with people and helping them express who they are and what they’re about in creative ways. My enthusiasm for the camera started at a tender young age when I won my first camera after entering a photo contest. I was convinced my prized Bassett Hound was destined for stardom when his photo won 3rd place!
As young aspiring photographer, I could never take enough photos. I remember marveling at my photos even as I studied to complete my masters in business-- to me, every snowy mountain top, city line view, Swiss Alp or the even the French Rivera in Nice had me earning to photograph more. After a corporate career and two beautiful children, my love for photography turned a corner and my interests turned to photographing children and families. I am so excited that I have now returned to the passion I have for photography. My love for this work has provided me the dream job as a portrait photographer.
My children and I live in Carrollton, Texas. I am originally from Maryland. I worked in corporate America before moving to Texas on a job related transfer. My hobbies include traveling, decorating, scrapbooking, journaling, and spending time with family and friends.
I have always enjoyed the creativity behind taking photos of people for as long as I can remember, including the thousands of photos that I take of my own children. My desires to capture beautiful images of my family has helped me discover that I want to invest more time in developing my talent and seeing what I could create from behind the lens. My work reflects the things I value: love, relationships, creativity, and beauty. I care deeply for each senior and family that I photograph. My goal is to help each client feel beautiful and confident while bringing out their individuality during a session.
